Greetings in Yeshua from Kehilat Mashiach in Alta Loma, California and welcome to our website!
An olive tree can grow to be thousands of years old. Today, after nearly 2,000 years, Jewish and non-Jewish people are coming together in unity to celebrate the promised Messiah of Israel. He said, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12) This same theme is reflected by the prophet Isaiah: “Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord” (Isaiah 2:5). Yeshua is the light of the L-rd foretold by the ancient prophets of Israel. If you are from a Jewish background, with the Messiah Yeshua, not only do you gain atonement and right-standing with G-d, but you also gain a greater connection to Jewish identity and covenant continuity. If you are not Jewish, you will also discover a blessing. You will discover that as a believer in Messiah, you are grafted together with the Jewish people, the natural branches of the Olive Tree. You are now fellow heirs in G-d’s household and no longer strangers to the covenants of promise.
Kehilat Mashiach is part of a modern Messianic Movement based on the “Olive Tree” illustration of first-century belief in Yeshua. This Movement was highlighted in 1948 when Israel was miraculously re-established as a Nation in fulfillment of Scripture, and further amplified in 1967 when Jerusalem came back into Israeli control.
In the Name of Yeshua the Messiah of Israel, Shalom! “Kehilat Mashiach” means “gathering in Messiah” and we invite you to gather with us Saturdays at 11:00 AM for praise, worship and teaching from G-d’s Word. Are you single? – welcome! Married? – welcome! Do you have children? – welcome! Perhaps you are an intermarried couple – we welcome you! We are located at 5719 Beryl Street across from Heritage Park in Alta Loma.
Again, we invite you to join and participate with our mishpocha (family). And may you find refreshment of spirit, stimulation of mind, warmth of fellowship, and a community of genuine love and concern.
To HaShem be the glory! Great things He has done!
